This was an epic shoot be a part of with over 30 suppliers involved it must have been a mammoth task by Emma from Copperfox Planning to bring it all together!
The venue was the refurbished Avon Gorge Hotel, recently taken over by Hotel Du Vin so as you can imagine lots of dark moody interiors, quirky accessories and styling - I love it!
The new bridal suite is absolutely gorgeous with a view of the suspension bridge and double baths looking out over the view so you can have a natter with your other half while you shave your legs - or have a glass of Prosecco - how romantic!
We had a powercut for 5 hours at the start of the shoot so this set things back a bit but we managed to pull it off in the end!
I wanted the look to feel soft but with a modern edge so kept skin fresh and dewy and added an electric blue winged liner. The colour didn't totally come through in the final images which was a shame. The model had lash extensions and micro-bladed eyebrows so I had to work with that, the wing was a good option as natural eye makeup wouldn't have been so successful against the thick lash extensions and I didn't want to take the eye makeup into a smoky or heavy eye.
Louise Alway (my fave) kept the hair soft and structed in a relaxed hollywood wave which worked really nicely against the lace dress and THAT crown by Hermoine Harbutt.
